My skin has been a whole hot mess lately and I’m trying products from The Ordinary to get it back together. Winter does a number on my skin and I’ve procrastinated on changing up my winter skincare products. Each season, I change my products out based on the needs of my skin. It’s always dry, but there are levels to my skin’s dryness.
Lately, I’ve noticed that my skin isn’t flaking, always a good thing, but my pores are getting larger on my upper lip and cheeks. Last year, I tried laser treatment, but my skin didn’t like that at all. I walked around with a burn from the treatment for almost a month and makeup couldn’t cover it.
I reached out to one of my friends who is a serious skincare guru and she recommended a few products from The Ordinary. However, in true Tiki fashion, I might’ve gone a bit overboard with the items that I purchased. I’m on a serious mission to get my skin back to normal and I wanted to share the products that I purchase to get my skin together this winter. I’m going to give them a try for the next four weeks and see how they work out form me.
Here’s a breakdown of what I purchased and how I intend to use them:
Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5
“Buffet”
Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%
Natural Moisturizing Factors +HA
Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion
AHA 30% +BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Honorable Mention: First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads
Yep, it’s a lot, but I’m my skin needs a little TLC this winter. The funny part is that the cost of The Ordinary products were less than $50 in total.
