I can’t believe 2022 is here already. It seems 2021 flew by, and I didn’t get any of the things I planned accomplished. Don’t get me wrong, I accomplished a lot, but not everything. I decided for 2022 that I’m going to get my shit together. In years past, I have seriously lacked consistency in everything I’ve done, down to skincare. Therefore, my word and my focus for 2022 is consistency.
With consistency, I’m also focusing on discipline and hell, focus. I’m like a little kid with a shiny ball and once the newness wears off, I’m over it and bored. I need to be disciplined and see things through. Last year, I started working on my MBA. That requires a lot of my time, but I’m determined to balance work, school, and blogging.
Overall Goals
My overall goals for this year are pretty simple. I broke them into three categories: physical, financial, and social media.
Weight Loss
I would like to lose the weight that I gained in 2020 and 2021. I also want to tone up and get some definition. Lastly, I want to finally get my tummy tuck. I’ve been wanting to get my stomach fixed since my c-section many years ago and haven’t. This year I’m getting it done.
Financial
As for my financial goals, I want to open my online boutique and make $50,000 from trading forex. Both of those will allow me to be 100% self-employed. The goal is to work until December 30th and that will be my last day of working for someone else. Keep me in your prayers.
Social Media
Lastly, my social media goals, including my blogging goals, I want to focus more on YouTube this year. For every post I create for the blog, I want to create a video to match and embed the video in the blog post. I realize that some people don’t want to read a book and just want the video. So, having both in one place makes sense to me. Also, I had a new intro made for YouTube and realized that I haven’t posted on Instagram in forever, but I’m up there all day every day. So, I really need to get busy and post my own content.
Those are my goals and the reason behind them. I really want to be consistent and focused this year. What are your goals for the year?
