It’s hard to believe 2014 is almost over. I plan on bringing 2015 looking and feeling great. If you are going out with friends or heading to church for New Year’s Eve, there is no reason not to look fab. The Beauty Council is bringing you a New Year’s look featuring Mirabella Beauty.
I hope to head to church to ring in 2015. I normally go each year, but this year didn’t work out quite as planned. I was super late getting ready for a first date and by the time we made it to church the new year was here. Yes, I brought in 2014 running around a church parking lot. I believe how you bring in your year is how it will be. I brought in the New Year with chaos and that is exactly how 2014 was for me, chaotic.
Anywho, I created a quick and easy look just in case you are running late and only have a few minutes to get ready. The focus of this look is Mirabella’s makeup.
The products used for this look are from the Faerie Mirabella Collection.
Swirling Pearl Brilliant Highlighting Powder – $40 USD
The highlighter is absolutely gorgeous! I almost didn’t want to use the highlighter because I thought it was so pretty. I know it’s sad. LOL
Gossamer Colour Luxe Lip Gloss – $26 USD
I used Gossamer for this look over a touch of lipstick. I didn’t want my lips to be bold because I wanted my eyes to stand out.
Luminosity Colour Luxe Lip Gloss – $26 USD
I totally forgot to take a picture of this gloss. It is a very light pink that would go great over a nude lip.
Myth Visionary Long Wear Eyeshadow – $29 USD
Oh my! What can I say about this eyeshadow? It is creamy and almost mousse-like consistency. I fell in love with the color the first time I swatched it on my hand. I just knew for the look it would go great over a black base and that is what I used for this look.
Overall, I am loving how the look turned out and I am now a fan of Mirabella makeup. I was a little afraid of the lip glosses but once I tried them, I realized they were not as glittery as I thought…perfect for more mature divas but still young and flirty for my daughters.
I hope you have a great New Year’s Eve. How are you bringing in the New Year?
