Sometimes you try something that works so well that it makes you double back to try more products from the brand. A while back, I shared my Meaningful Beauty review of the Creme de Serum and I mentioned that I was very curious about the potential results of using more products from Meaningful Beauty.
Well, the day has come and I’m super excited. I think I have everything I could think of to start off my 2016 skincare.
Meaningful Beauty is the line of skincare that I know we’ve all seen on the late-night infomercials with Cindy Crawford. The skincare system was designed to deliver antioxidants and vitamins to the skin to fight free radicals and enhance radiance. The marine extracts in the line moisturizers and firms skin. According to the brand, customers should see smoothing of lines and wrinkles and brighten within 4 weeks of using the system as directed.
Personally, when I used the serum alone, I saw results in one week. Now, I do have to add that I didn’t follow the directions on the bottle. I thought you were supposed to use the Creme de Serum morning AND night but you are supposed to use it morning OR night. Reading is fundamental. LOL! Oops. Hey! It worked!
I received the 90 day set with bonus gifts. Let’s take a look at the items and I’ll try to go in order.
Skin Softening Cleanser– A creamy cleanser that is said to remove makeup, dirt, and oil without drying the skin. I love that it is fragrance-free for my sensitive skin. It’s also oil-free which is great for those with oily skin that prefer using oil-free products.
The cleanser is a little thinner than I would like and it’s non-foaming. I thought it would be a little thicker consistency. So far, it has not dried out my skin and that is a plus for sure.
Antioxidant Day Creme with SPF 20 – A lightweight moisturizer with Melon Complex, Vitamin C, and other antioxidants that protect the skin from the sun while moisturizing and firming. It’s said to hydrate, firm, and brighten.
I will say it is lightweight and non-oily, so I think this is great for all skin types. It does have a slight scent that reminds me of sunscreen but it’s not a strong scent. I was initially concerned because of my allergies. I had the same concern the first few times I used the Creme de Serum but I was fine. Funny enough after I used the moisturizer, I couldn’t stop touching my face.
Creme de Serum– The serum contains three layers with each serving a different purpose. The white layer contains anti-aging peptides. The clear layer is hyaluronic acid to grab and hold moisture. The melon contains a SOD complex that protects skin from the elements.
Glowing Serum – This is one of the bonus items in the set. It is said to instantly transform dry skin to give it a youthful healthy glow.
I was most looking forward to trying this in the set because the temperature change has taken a toll on my skin. I noticed that it does look a little dull lately even with me exfoliating and doing my normal routine. I need something to bring life back into my skin.
Wrinkle Smoothing Capsules – Each capsule contains hyaluronic acid and a peptide blend to firm and plump laugh lines.
The capsules are designed as a spot treatment for smile lines, lines around the eyes, and lines on the forehead. I pray that they work because I have one line in the middle of my forehead from raising my eyebrows at people. I swear it drives me batty.
Lifting Eye Creme – Advanced Formula – Treats dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and wrinkles.
This is another product that I can’t wait to see the results of. I hate having dark circles, so any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.
Skin Brightening Décolleté & Neck Treatment with SPF 15 – An antioxidant-rich formula that brightens dark spots while smoothing and tightening the skin.
Lately, I’ve been looking for more products for my neck because I started to notice on others their neck shows their true age. I’m trying to keep my neck tight and lifted as long as possible.
The last item in the set is the cleansing brush. It’s said to be gentle enough for daily use but I disagree if you have sensitive skin. I would use it every other day. It is softer than my other cleansing brushes but it is still too harsh for daily use on me.
I’m looking forward to seeing my results over the next couple of weeks. I’ll report back to you later in the month with a full Meaningful Beauty review to see how things worked out, but I’m optimistic based on my results with the serum that all will be well. We shall see!
