Do you smell as good as you look? There is nothing better than a beautiful woman that smells as exquisite as she appears. Have you had a gentleman do a double-take and stop you to tell you how beautiful you are and that you smell wonderful? Oh, I have! The look on his face is always priceless.
Mia Mariu has a new fragrance line and I was given the opportunity to test a fragrance of my choice. I couldn’t resist! I am a bigger junkie for perfume than I am for makeup or hair products. Yes, it’s true! I may leave home without makeup or with my hair in a ponytail, but I NEVER leave home without a spritz or splash of some wonderful fragrance. It’s my finishing touch to getting dressed for the day.
I’ve been like this since junior high. I always say I’m scent sensitive. I adore perfumes and colognes. I recently told someone, “The right cologne will make a less attractive man handsome.” Enough about me and my fragrance addiction. Let’s get down to it!
After reading the description of each fragrance, I chose Magia. According to the description, it contained fragrance notes I knew I loved.
“…With a medley of juicy strawberry, mandarin, peach and pear that play sweetly atop dewy blooms of jasmine, plum, magnolia and flirty frangipani…notes of rich vanilla, musk, tonka bean and warm and enchanting golden amber”
Tell me that does not intrigue you! Well, I received my bottle of Magia fairly quickly. It is a full-size, 1.7oz bottle. On the site, it retails for $42. The price did make me wonder about quality, sillage – projection, and longevity.
My Take on Mia Mariu’s Magia!
I opened the package immediately when I received it in the mail. Yes, I like to smell pretty even when I’m relaxing at home. Don’t judge me. Anywho, I opened the box to find this hot pink box that just spoke to me. I just knew it was going to be a fragrance that I couldn’t resist.
It didn’t disappoint at all. It was love at first spray! Yes, seriously…I squealed! I was beyond excited and couldn’t wait to give it a real test drive. I’ve worn it regularly over the last couple of weeks and it’s still a winner for me. I’ve received compliments and double sniffs from a few friends.
I will say I wish it was a little less in price but in the end, it is worth the price. The smell does project well and the longevity of the fragrance is great. I did notice that it was still on some of my clothing on wash day. For me, that is a plus.

I’d pick the fragrance you picked. I like the lighter sweeter fragrances. The adorame’ would better suit my best friend who has more of a mysterious and sultry type persona.
There is nothing wrong with be light and flirty. I have to be in a special mood for the richer deeper fragrances.

I would want to try the Adorame Eau de Parfum. I see out of the mm Collection they only have one fragrance for women.
They only have one for men. The rest are for women.

Ha- I love to wear a nice fregrance while lounging at home, too! I have been savoring the last few ounces of my favorite Lacoste fragrance for about 3 years! I’d love to try this one- it sounds yummy! I like MM’s Hydrating Stick Glosses, and Magic Silk products.
LOL! I’m glad it’s not just me. I have one fragrance that has a corner left and I only wear it for special occasions. I will have to give the glosses a try.
