My Favorite Fragrance Of All Time

What is the first thing you notice when you meet someone? For me, it is the person’s scent. Now, this can be good or bad but it’s normally good. I mentioned in my Mia Mariu Magia’s post, I love a man than smells good.

Fragrance Favorites Of All Time

I am a serious perfume junkie. I have more than 45 fragrances. Don’t judge me! I just purchased more and haven’t had a chance to count them in just yet. I entirely blame my love of all things perfumes, body splashes, and smell goods on my mother and grandmother.

The ladies in the beauty blogging group that I belong to decided to do a post on their favorite fragrance(s). I’m upset because I can’t find my bottle of Givenchy Hot Couture. That is my all-time favorite fragrance. I need to replace that one immediately.

Givenchy Hot Couture

Anywho, I wanted to share my favorite that I have on hand. My choices are a mixture of price points. You don’t have to spend a ton of money to smell great.

I have been on a no buy for a while and most of my perfumes are almost out. However, I think it is time to give up on my no buy. I didn’t use all of my collection as I planned but hell, I’m close enough.

Favorite Fragrance Of All Time

Mia Mariu Magia – I raved about this in my Mia Mariu review post. I love this so much that I had a giveaway.

Versace Red Jeans – I actually have two bottle of this and both are almost out. At one point, I wore this perfume daily.

City Trends – OK, the pink bottle I picked up from City Trends two years ago and it does not have a name on the bottle. I think I paid $5 or $6 dollars for it and it smells awesome. I was surprised about how long it lasts and I wish I would’ve picked up more bottles.

Givenchy Amarige – This is my church perfume. Don’t judge but I really where this to church. I blame my love of Amarige on my grandmother. I have been hooked for as long as I can remember. I will never give this one up.

Fred Hayman Hollywood – I found this brand years ago while shopping at a perfume outlet in Virginia. I can’t tell you how many bottles of this I’ve owned and it’s time for another.

Inky Tattooed – I purchased this fragrance at the same time I purchased the one above from City Trends. This also another one I wish I would’ve stocked up on. I can still find it on Ebay and Amazon but I only paid $6 at most when I purchased it from City Trends.

Del Pozo Halloween – I found this one at the perfume outlet. I’ve had this forever and I was holding on to the last corner because I knew I was on that dang no buy

Davidoff Cool Water for Women – This perfume is funny but my ex-husband bought the first bottle for me and I fell in love with it. I got rid of him and kept my love of this perfume. I notice I get a ton of compliments from guys when I wear this fragrance. It has the Love Spell effect. LOL!

Last up is my second favorite fragrance of all time, Lolita Lempicka. When I purchased my first bottle of this it was my most expensive perfume at $90. I am sooo glad the price went down. I haven’t used this one much lately and the color on this is changing. It was purple to match the bottle. I used to keep everything in the fridge and freezer. Oh well, it still smell awesome.

Well, those are my faves! I have so many but these are the ones that I would continue to buy as long as they are available.

Perfume outlet? I must look into this. About 15-20 years ago, my thing was getting a new fragrance every year around Mother’s Day when Belk department store would have the gift with purchase sale. My aunt always wears one of two or three Estee Lauder fragrances, so those were the ones I was buying regular. In the past few years when getting samples with orders from Sephora, Ulta and such, I started paying attention and buying fragrances I never heard of or thought to try. It’s fun to try different ones, but I still think I want a signature fragrance.

Yes, I used to go to the one at the outlets in Williamsburg, VA. Then I found one online.

Love the pics! I haven’t tried most of these scents. I love to try unique things, and I also am a fan of high end to low end! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I thought I was the only person who liked Halloween… it is one of my favorites and have been using it now for over 15 years. 🙂

15 years sounds about right for me too. I’ve used it since forever and I think it was right around 2000is when I started wearing it.

You brought me back with cool waters! I like Lolita Lempicka, but it reminds me of someone I despise so I stay away from it.

And I agree too! I have found one of my favorite perfumes from a young woman at a craft fair who makes soaps, lotions and perfume oils. I’m curious about your 45 fragrances: is there anything that links them or are they just random scents that you love?

I can’t say that they are random because I like a specific scent.

I agree, fragrance doesn’t have to be spendy to be wonderful. I have worn scents that cost little and made me feel fabulous and got me tons of compliments. I have samples of Lolita Lempica and I think I’m going to go for a full size when the samples are done, I’m really enjoying it!
