In the years that I’ve subscribed to Birchbox, my Birchbox is consistent in providing me with great products that I love each month. I decided that I would share a Birchbox review for those who are considering the service. I love the service because it is customizable and the products tend to be mid-end versus low-end like other beauty subscriptions.
To get started, I simply filled out a quick survey and they match products each month according to my preferences. Birchbox has subscriptions for both men and women. The women’s subscription contains mostly beauty sample items; however, I’ve received some non-beauty items: chocolate, headbands, granola bars, etc. I changed a few things in my profile to limit the amounts of food goodies…not because I didn’t like them but because I’m trying to lose weight. Most months Birchbox does include bonus items and my Birchbox for this month included two bonus items, shown below. The theme for this month was “Finishing School”. Check out the other Birchbox reviews that I’ve shared past and present.
Now on to more of my official Birchbox review…
The cost of the box is $10 per month. The site doesn’t state how many samples are included in each box. Honestly, I’ve never paid any attention to that tidbit. Like other subscription sites, you are able to order the full size of any of the samples you received at a discounted price. Subscribers earn points for reviewing products and those points can be used toward the purchase of a full-size item.

Overall, I love Birchbox. I love the items I receive each month and I have yet to be disappointed with a box. Also, they have the best customer service. If you don’t get them on the line when you initially call in, they will call you back. I’ve had some companies you can call and never hear a word from them. Birchbox is not like that at all. I’ve only missed one month and that was due to moving. I canceled for that month because I didn’t want to chance the Post Office losing my box. This is the site I can see myself upgrading to an annual subscription. It’s in my cart and waiting for me to pay. LOL
