In my previous makeup video, I shared a look using Crayon Case Cosmetics. In the post, I promised that I would review the brand. Here is my honest review along with feedback.
Crayon Case Cosmetics Review
There were a few misses, and I had an unpleasant experience with their customer service department. The short story is I purchased an eyeliner that I never used. I didn’t open it when I received it to keep the product from going bad. I finally opened it for this video and noticed that the tube was completely empty. I reached out to customer service and they had me jumping through hops and taking pics. Then they tell me that the policy is no refunds or exchanges after 48 hours and they haven’t had the product since 2020. So, you knew when I emailed you that I purchased the product around then and it was out of your timeframe. So why waste my time by asking me for pictures? Just tell me the policy and let me go on my way. I wasn’t happy with how it was handled at all. If I waited too long to ask for an exchange, that’s fine, but tell me from the jump.
Final Thoughts
As for the products, I like the lip products, eyeshadow pallet, wipes, and the powder is the bomb. The concealer didn’t give me the coverage that I need for my dark circles, even after sitting for a bit. I had to mix two colors from the contour pallet to make my color, but I did like the pallet. The highlighter was pretty but just too much glitter. The color was perfect for me and will work with almost any skin tone. The mascara was horrible. I threw that in the trash after I took pictures. I love the brushes and they are now in my go-to container.
Would I buy from them again? Yes! There are a few products that I still want to try. The price point allows you to purchase and not feel too bad if something is a miss. I do want the Blush Binder and one other eyeshadow pallet (the name escapes me at the moment).
I will continue to support Supa and her business. I just need them to get their customer service together. Hell, I would love to be a Crayon Cutie, but I know I don’t match their aesthetic for that. I’m older and do everyday natural makeup.
