Moving to a new place is always an adventure. For some, it’s moving to their very first home. I’ve moved a few times but each move is unique and different. During my last move, I somehow managed to leave all of my pots and baking dishes behind, along with a few other things. I don’t know how it happened and I’m kicking myself.

With that, it prompted me to share a budget-friendly housewarming gift guide with gifts under $20. I’m all about giving practical gifts that I know my friends and family will love and use for some time. There are so many awesome items that you can purchase for friends and family.
If You Forgot The Wine Welcome Mat – For your friends that are winos and proud, this rug is super cute. I actually have a friend that I’m sending this to for a gift.
SoundBot Water Resistant Bluetooth/Wifi Speaker – What is a gathering without music to set the mood. Someone gave me a speaker and I swear I use that thing almost everywhere in my house. I simply connect it to my laptop to charge and it’s ready to go in no time. I carry mine all over the house. A water-resistant one is perfect for those, like me, who like to listen to music while in the shower or taking a bath.
Stemless Wine Glasses – Aren’t these just the cutest wine glasses? If you have a friend with a great sense of humor, these are perfect! I recently gave regular drinking glass to someone who was using red Solo cups, so the type of glass set depends on the person. However, I would prefer to give wine glasses and I think these are perfect. Stemless wine glasses are more versatile than your normal wine glasses, so you don’t feel awkward drinking a Jack and Coke out of them. Hey, my friends like to drink!
MINX Fragrance Candle Set – You can never go wrong with a candle set! This is a set of three clean-burning soy candle blends. The set includes three different scents: Citrus & Basil, Ocean, and Pomegranate Acai. Each candle comes in a tin with a top that makes the set perfect to use at home or while traveling.
Spirelli Spiral Slicer – Perfect for your friends who are eating healthy and prefer to create their own noodles. The Spiral Slicer turns your favorite veggies into noodles that are the perfect substitution for pasta. I had the pink one hanging out in my wishlist for the longest. Yep, I said pink. It also comes in blue, black, and yellow.
Silicon Baking Pans – Perfect for your favorite baker. I was pretty bummed about leaving my muffin pans but this set made me feel so much better. I love that it’s silicon because they are super easy to clean and nonstick. Believe it or not, they are oven-safe up to 450 degrees.
Personalized Cutting Board – I actually wanted this myself because it’s so gorgeous! A personalized cutting board is a great gift idea if you want your gift to have a personal touch. Bamboo cutting boards last for years and this one is so pretty that it can double as wall art for the kitchen.
Wine Bottles under $20 – What is a wine glass set without the perfect bottle of wine to break it in? Wine.com has a number of wines under $20. The site features both red and white wines in their section for wines with a customer rating of 90 or greater. You can pick the perfect wine and have it sent to you or your friend.
Coffee & Tea Mug Gift Set – We can’t just booze it up. In case you have friends or family who doesn’t drink, this gift basket has coffee, tea, and cocoa. The gift set has everything needed to enjoy a great cup of tea or coffee.
Herb Garden – is a great gift idea. You can choose from an herb set with Basil, Thyme, Parsley, Cilantro, and Sage or the veggie set with Purple Carrots Black Corn, Rainbow Swiss chard, Yellow Cucumber, and Romanesco Broccoli. Each set comes with all items needed to get started.
OK, so I went a little heavy with alcohol-related gifts but if you have friends like me, I’m sure you understand. I hope this gift guide helps take the stress out of picking the perfect housewarming gift that doesn’t break the bank.
