I’m late to the party, but I’m finally here. I can’t believe 2020 is already in full swing. I hope you had a fantastic New Year. Have you started planning your goals for the year? I wanted to come and share a Just Tiki update with you to kick off the year.
I saw so many people talking about how rough 2019 was for them. Oddly, 2019 was my best year in a long time. Don’t get me wrong, it started out rough and I lost someone very dear to me. However, things did get better after I dealt with my grief.
During the year, I confirmed what I thought about those who were around me and released those who didn’t have positive energy. I also attended the Essences Festival for the first time. I really want to go back again and will.
Amazingly, I grew closer to those who have similar goals, dreams, and personalities as mine. Once I did that, my year was awesome!
There are only a few things that I have planned for the year. The first is to finally complete my vision board. LOL, I have been working on that and reupholstering my sofa forever. LOL
Another goal I have for the year, I plan to finish losing weight and tone up. Last year, I got my weight down, but gained some back during Essence and when I returned home. I have to get that back off and get ready to be summertime fine. Yass! I was cute last summer, but this summer I’m going for fine.
Of course, I want to get back to blogging. It wasn’t until December that I realized how long it had been since I posted on the blog, Instagram, and YouTube. I was legit out living my best life and lost track of time. However, I want to get back to doing what I love. The funny part is that I didn’t realize how many of my blogger friends had taken time off during 2019. We were chatting on Facebook about getting back into our grooves and returning to our little homes on the internet.
Honestly, I have so many skincare products and makeup that I have never opened and reviewed that I have no excuse not to have things to share with everyone. So, I’m going to start going through my items and give my opinions, and share looks.
On the cooking side of things, I’m going to continue to post some recipes on this blog. They are going to be more of my everyday recipes for people without dietary restrictions. I’m going to move my Keto, Gluten-Free, and overall healthy eating recipes over to my Healthy Living Tiki site. I want to keep them separate and really focus on the rest of my weight loss journey on that site.
Just Tiki Update

For those of you who have been around for a while, thank you so much for continuing to support me. It means a lot.
