Perfect for Summer Manicure: Evelyn & Crabtree Raspberry Nail Lacquer

Today’s manicure is a retry from last week using Crabtree & Evelyn Raspberry Nail Lacquer. In my catching-up post, I showed you all how I kept messing my nails up just on the base coat for my manicure. I am just plain stubborn and I was determined to try it again this week. Well what do you know, it finally worked! I finally managed to stay still long enough to let my nails dry. LOL!

This manicure is simple but cute. The most difficult part for me was keeping my hand steady to do the white stripe. So sad…LOL!

FYI…The overall health of my nails is getting better now that I am trying a different vitamin. In the first two weeks, I noticed my nails were stronger and not breaking. I am not sure what the vitamin is doing for my hair just yet but I am hoping for good results. I actually had to file my nails down for this week’s manicure. I was so happy that it was not due to breakage for once. Whew!
Nail Art using Evelyn & Crabtree Raspberry Nail Lacquer
Anywho, the Crabtree & Evelyn Raspberry Nail Lacquer is a new favorite for me and the retail on the site is only $6. I think it is definitely worth the price. I am seriously loving this color!  I applied two thin coats as a base but the formula is so creamy and opaque that you could really get away with one thicker coat. Since I used it last week, I was able to test out the wear of the polish. I was surprised that it lasted from Sunday to Friday with minimal signs of wear and no chipping. It didn’t chip until I did a full wash day on Friday. Did I mention I did not apply a topcoat? Yes, it lasted all week with my OCD handwashing and no topcoat. This is some good stuff!! LOL!
