Holiday Blues Manicure Ft. Wet n Wild Nail Polish

It is right after Thanksgiving and I am dog tired. So I decided to opt for a simple manicure that reflects how I’m feeling. This time of year is difficult for me because my immediate family is no longer living and I normally get a little down. So my Holiday Blues manicure using Wet n Wild Nail Polish seems fitting. I tried to add a little sparkle for hope.

Anywho, I used the Wild Shine by Wet n Wild nail polish in Bijou Blue and their Fastdry glitter polish in Party of Five Glitters. I wish I would’ve added just a tad more glitter. I think it would’ve looked so much better.

As you can see, I broke a nail. So sad! I am debating taking the tips off my other nails and just letting them breathe. The white nail tips look great, but it is hard to cover them with polish. My nails are the same length as the tips. I am afraid that my nails will break once I take off the gel and tips.

ETA: I took my nails off and they were severely damaged under the gel nails. It took a bit to nurse my nails back to health. You can see how my naturals nails looked after I took off the gel nails and what I used to restore the health of my nails. I attribute the damage to my nails to the gel that I used. I didn’t use my normal gel because I wanted to try out something new and less expensive. I got what I paid for indeed.

Until next week…

Found ya! 😀 That blues pretty! I used to wear the white tips too but then my nails starting getting really tender when I would get the done. So I had them taken off and tried the gel nails….Same thing, they hurt too bad when I get them filed….so I took everything off and have embraced the natural nakedness…lol.

Love the colors! Looks like great polishes! I need some new stuff soon. I used to use tips on my nails, but it’s been years since I have done them with tips. I know how you feel too, I miss some of my immediate family, they are gone now. I always miss them around the holidays, I always used to call and always say Happy Thanksgiving or Merry Christmas…. or just say it’s me again muhahahahaha
