Happy Monday to you! It’s time to get another week started…hopefully, a great start. I did a little something different this week with my nails. I pulled out my sponge and tried a little nail art. Recently, I asked the ladies in a nail group for inspiration for my nubs. I just couldn’t think of what I could do with nails this short. I was so surprised by the pictures they posted. I felt so much better. I have a few polishes I still need to try out, including both China Glaze polishes I used for today’s manicure.
There was one person in particular that posted her page and I saw this designed that I absolutely had to try. I want to thank Carrie at Carrie’s Twisted Nail Art for this week’s manicure design. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out because the last time I used striping tape it was a mess. Things turned out better this time. The only issue was the color from the tape bleeding into the polish color. I’ll live!
I used my favorite two China Glaze polishes for this week’s manicure:
China Glaze So Blue Without You
China Glaze Mingle With Kringle
I will say I prefer blue over gold. It’s a texture difference. I picked the polishes up in Sally’s mini haul not too long ago. The two colors were part of a three-pack that I got on clearance. Hey, you wouldn’t think the colors were from the Christmas line unless I told you.
I will say I like the blue base with the gold sponging better. I only managed to get one had done. Let’s see how the other hand turns out. Did someone say, “hot mess”? Probably!
What type of manicure are you wearing this week? Are you trying any new polishes?
Tell me if you like the bigger pictures or are they too big?

Thanks!

They both look lovely, I like the blue over the goal best but I’m too scared to wear anything but pink and nude on my nails.

Oh no! Try to add one or two colors, wear them a bit and see if they grow on you.

Thank you and this turned out awesome 🙂

Thanks! It was so much easier than I thought it was going to be…now just see how stamping does for me

Very pretty and I also love that blue and gold combination 🙂

Thanks! The color combo just happened to be in the same package. That was a win for me b/c it just made sense to use them together. I love the two together.
