It’s been a while since I posted a hair ramble. I wanted to give you all the latest on Cherrelle and I. We are both acting up right now. Please be advised, this is a true ramble. Try not to shake your head when you finish. LOL!
The last few weeks have been a little out of the norm for me. I did my end-of-year texlax; however, I didn’t complete it until New Year’s Eve. It was scheduled for December 28th and I was in here like a little kid whining and saying, “I don’t wanna do my hair.” I just didn’t feel like doing much but since I had a date, I decided to go ahead and texlax.
Well, I love the results. Ok, I love the result a little too much. I started just doing wash n go’s and leaving my hair down. Umm…yeah, Cherrelle didn’t like being down at all. I saw a few split ends. You know I’m not having that at all.
Anywho, I finally got around to coloring my hair the other day. If you follow me on Facebook, you have seen my status updates. It looked like a little kid took a gray crayon and went to town in my head. I’m moving slow. If you didn’t guess, I’m having some health challenges again. I’m trying not to neglect Cherrelle because you know she will leave me another note.
I will say, it’s coming along and I started the flat ironing process. I hope to finally have my length check posted this weekend. I’m trying to do it all on my own knowing that is not the best thing. We won’t even talk about my dating life.
All I have to say is, folks representatives are awesome as hell. However, when you meet the real them, you end up having the confused puppy look. I can’t do the arguing disguised as a debate. Even my doctor gave me the side-eye when I explained that foolishness. Bless his heart…such a shame
Anywho, I will post an update as soon as I can. I don’t want to do my hair, but I know I need to do it. I know I still owe you all part II of my texlax prep. It’s coming. Just pray for me and work with me.
I don’t use chemicals on my hair and haven’t for most of my life. Since living in the south, I’ve even been wearing it curly and down which I normally don’t. Good luck with figuring it all out. Lol that you mentioned the representative of a person when you first start dating. I thought my husband was the only one who called it that. You guys are so right about that though. I hope you have better success with your hair soon. I went natural about 9 years ago and it took me a while to figure it all out. Thank you for sharing with us at Countdown in Style!
