Sometimes you just need a little extra boost for the things you are missing in your diet. If you’ve read my hair regimen post, you know I’m all about a supplement. Nature Made is one of the brands that I’ve taken for several years. My supplements change based on the season or what I’m currently including in my diet. For 2016, I really wanted to buckle down and get back to taking my vitamins daily. I’m determined to get back on track and rebound for the holidays and forgetfulness. Yeah, I confess…I’ve forgotten to take
For 2016, I really wanted to buckle down and get back to taking my vitamins daily. I’m determined to get back on track and rebound for the holidays and forgetfulness. Yeah, I confess…I’ve forgotten to take my supplements here and there but overall, I’m doing better. I do have a few things that I’m concerned about boosting because I know I’m not getting what I need in my diet.
Right now, I need a little Vitamin C to prevent help boost my immune system. I haven’t had a cold or flu in forever. I’m refuse to be sick…I turn into a whining cranky baby. It’s not pretty.
I will say that Vitamin C is one of the supplements that I take year-round. Years ago when I started my healthy hair journey, I learned that taking Vitamin C when taking MSM helps with absorption. MSM is a powder supplement that I take to help with hair growth and to keep my knees from hurting from running. I’ll chat about that another day.
Speaking of running, I also take Potassium to prevent cramps. I try to buy bananas to keep my potassium up but they tend to go back. So I have a backup stash of Nature Made Potassium tablets. Trust me, cramping mid-run is no fun!
Now, if you’ve been here for a while, you know I have a serious case of insomnia and I don’t like taking prescription medication. So I take a combination of Vitamin D and Melatonin.
I take both about an hour or so before bed. I’ve tried other products but I would wake up in the middle of the night swearing I heard something or I would be super groggy in the morning. I’m all about natural alternatives to anything. I literally have a supplement box but I’ll spare you the picture. LOL!
Nature Made products are easily accessible. I pick mine up from my local Walmart. There was a time that I had to order my goodies online and wait a week or so. Now I can just grab what I need in my weekly Walmart run. The next time you are at your local Walmart, stop by the supplement sections and see what Nature Made products you may need to pick up.
As an added bonus, I-C is giving 20 lucky winners a $50 Walmart gift card. You can use your gift card to purchase your favorite vitamins from the country’s number one best-selling and number pharmacist recommended vitamin brand, Nature Made. I-C will randomly select 20 winners from all program entries and will handle the fulfillment of the winning prizes.
Don’t forget to get your daily boost of vitamins and nutrients!
