Having a great skincare regimen is essential for flawless makeup. Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t leave the house every day in on full glam. Sometimes, I just feel like wearing a touch of makeup. I love a good no makeup – makeup look. Luckily, I have good skin, at least I think so, and I can get away with very light or no makeup.
I haven’t always been the best about caring for my skin but there are some products that no matter how many other items I’m testing always stay in my stash. The first soap I used on my face was the Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar. As a matter of fact, it was the first item I had my oldest try for her problem skin. Years later, we are both still Neutrogena fans.
So it’s only right that in addition to trying their soaps, cleansers, and wipes, that I try their makeup too. I figured their makeup products would be something light and gentle. After taking a look at their line, I realized the color palette is geared toward a light no-makeup look. Bingo! That’s so perfect for me. We know I love my natural glam looks.
Take a look at the super simple look I created using my favorite Neutrogena products.
On most days, I don’t wear eyeshadow. I normally take my foundation and apply it to my lids to get rid of my lid discoloration. My liner is super easy. I normally tight-line with the Neutrogena Nourishing Liner and apply one coat of the Healthy Lengths Mascara. Yep! Super simple!
Next, I move to my foundation application. I apply one layer and most often, I just use my hands. For this look, I used Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup in 80 Medium Beige.
After I apply my foundation, I add a touch of blush to give my cheeks a kiss of color. Today, I’m using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush in Vibrant.
To bring my super quick and easy look together, I’m using Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Soft Raspberry.
I love my girls’ night out for wearing super glammed-up makeup but most days you will find me with a soft makeup look. I can normally finish my makeup in five mins and I’m out of the door.
At the end of the day, I use the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser with a cleansing brush. OMG! I love Honey for telling me about this cleanser. I started using it about a year or so ago because I wanted a foaming cleanser that was gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I love it and no matter what products I’m trying, I always use it to completely remove my makeup.
