Beautisol’s Exscrub Me? Citus Face Exfoliant Review

Beautisol’s Exscrub Me

press-disclosure

Nothing like a good weekly scrubbing! OK, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Are you ready? Every week I remove the peach fuzz on my entire face. If you remember my post about the three types of body hair, you will know I mentioned I’m a tad furry. Like pound puppy, furry. It’s so not cute…especially, when you are applying makeup. I like to exfoliate my face to remove dead skin cells and to lift the fuzz prior to dermaplaning.

Beautisol’s Exscrub Me? was designed, by a fellow beauty blogger,  to exfoliate the face prior to self-tanner application but it is gentle enough to use it as a general weekly exfoliator.

Now, I almost did not try this citrus exfoliant because it came right at the time I had the allergic reaction to the clay mask. I had to have a “Come to Jesus” with myself and I decided to put on my big girl panties and give the Exscrub Me? a try.

I am so glad I did because this has been my go to scrub since I tried it. The package clearly states it is for all skin types and I can safely say it works for sensitive skin. I have been able to use this scrub up to twice a week.

Beautisol’s Exscrub Me

Exscrub Me? is a citrus based scrub that contains certified organic orange peel, lemon, and grapefruit extracts. It smells absolutely delicious!

 The Basics:

Exscrub Me? is a citrus face exfoliant that is excellent for for removing dead skin cells before applying self-tanner.

Paraben-free, propylene glycol-free, sodium laurel/laureth sulfate-free, and cruelty-free (PETA certified)

 Ingredients:

You can see the Jojoba beads in the product.

Just a word of caution: Please be very gentle when using this product because the Jojoba beads do not dissolve. I will admit I did not pay attention the first time I used the exfoliant and well, you can figure out what happened. LOL! Also, you only need a small amount of product. Yep, I made that mistake too.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I love this product. I was happy that it works great on my sensitive skin and it leaves me with soft smooth skin. Exscrub Me? is the perfect companion to my weekly dermaplaning regimen. Plus, it is affordable. Beautisol’s Exscrub Me? retails for $17.00 for a 2oz tube on Beautisol.com.

If you are interested in picking up a tube, Beautisol has supplied my readers with a discount. If you use the discount code BOGO2014 before June 31st, you will receive the advantage of “Buy One, Get One Free.” How awesome is that divas?

I would say try it. I was surprised how much I like it and that it didn’t break my face out
