I Can't Resist Anything Purple, Including Sinful Colors! #NOTW

I have resisted the urge to purple…until now. I absolutely could not resist using the polish for my #NOTW (Nail of the week). I can’t remember the last time I used a polish that was in the purple family. Heck, I even managed to avoid buying a dark purple yesterday from Sally’s…close call.

OK, I totally forgot about I received a PINCHme box and what I ordered. I’ve had it for a few weeks and I was going through my products (trying to organize a little) when I decided to open the box. In the middle of sample packets was this gorgeous lavender color and I immediately decided to change my plans for this week’s manicure. It was going to be a dark red to match the makeup look I have coming. Please forgive me in advance for the non-matching nails. LOL!

This little beauty is (affiliate link) Sinful Colors Verbena. The formula for this polish is thin and I had to apply three thin coats. If you are not careful the polish will run down your fingers. Luckily, I was able to recognize the consistency of the polish and adjust before any accidents happened because I would have totally been on grumpy pants today.

I will add this is a drugstore brand and it is very inexpensive, only $1.99. I think the quality works for the price point.

There are three things I absolutely hate doing: folding laundry, pumping gas, and cleaning up nail polish. I am dead serious. I have paid/bribed my daughters to do the first two. Don’t judge me!
