We are having a little manicure fun this week with textures. I wanted to test Zoya Ziv and OPI Liquid Sand nail polishes. I received both polishes in one of my subscription services. When I saw the OPI polish, I was instantly intrigued. I wanted to know how the final texture looked and felt. When I received the Zoya Ziv polish, I thought it would be perfect to try them together.
Plus, I am starting to realize that I like multi-colored manicures. The polishes used this week are perfect together…in color and texture. I did not try a design because I felt it would not look right. I can’t imagine trying to do nail art on either polish.
I realized while I was typing the post that my nails are the same color as my bedroom. Don’t judge me! LOL! OK! Maybe I have a thing for purple and gold. *Kanye shrug*
I took a picture without the topcoat because you can see the texture a little better.
The gold color is Ziv by Zoya. The Zoya polish has a metallic finish with fine glitter. This polish to be slightly textured and you are able to wear it without a topcoat if desired.
The purple color is OPI Liquid Sand Can’t Let Go. It has larger pieces of silver glitter. It does have a sand feel to it. There are other sizes of glitter in the polish to create the texture.
I like both polishes. I will say they are a little difficult to remove and you absolutely have to wear a topcoat with the OPI polish.
I must say that I am loving my MANICure Monday textured polish. What type of manicure are you rocking this week? Have you tried any of OPI’s Liquid Sand polishes? Don’t forget to check out my other manicures and nail polish swatches.
