Influenster J’adore VoxBox

Guess who was chosen for the latest Influenster VoxBox? That right, little old me. I was so excited to see what goodies were going to be included in this box because it has a Valentine’s theme. Now, I received it a little late but I can’t complain. I love VoxBoxes because you never know exactly what you will find in the box. This box is perfect for a hair and beauty blogger and I’m glad they selected me.

I want to share the goodies that I received with you. Please excuse the box because it looks like it got into a fight with the mail lady. Not sure, what happened to the box but the items inside were not damaged.

Let’s take a look at each item in the box individually. I found a few new items to try and I am excited to give them a go.

Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask

A deep cleaning mineral-rich mask that was designed for normal skin. Unscented and Hypo-allergenic. Retail: $9.39

I probably will not use this mask now. My skin is extremely dry right now and I feel this will dry me out and make my face peel. I will hold on to this one to use during the summer. As I’m writing this, I’m really debating trying it now anyway. I love masks. *sigh*

ETA: The mask caused my face to break out, and I later read that many people have experienced reactions to the mask.

HERSHEY’S KISSES Milk Chocolates

Retail: $5.29 for 18.5 oz and $3.28 for 11 oz

OK, see what had happened was umm… *hangs head in shame* This is an empty bag but pretend that it is full of gorgeous pink, silver, and red foiled kisses. I have not touched anything in the box except the Kisses. I couldn’t resist them and they came at the wrong time of the month. *sorry* I polished off the entire bag on my own. I’m not proud, but I’m a woman left alone with a bag of chocolate. What did you expect? *shrugs* IJS

Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight Flat Iron Spray

A heat-activated formula that lasts up to 3 days. Protects against heat damage and frizz. Retail: $9.99

I was excited to see this product and giving it a try until I realized it had Keratin. Protein in general is not my friend. So, I am somewhat hesitant to give this product a try. I will keep you all posted if I do but so far I’ve heard great things about results.

KISS Looks So Natural Lashes

Made with tapered ends to blend seamlessly with your own lashes. Retail: $3.99

I am trying to perfect my lash applying skills because I love the look of false lashes on me. I have been known to just wear a pair of lashes and liner…that’s it. I am excited to try these because they look natural in the pack and I think they will look great on me. I am not a fan of the drag queen lashes but just a nice natural false lash. According to the description, these are lighter than normal lashes and that is a plus in my book.

Red Rose Simply Indulgent Teas

Premium black tea blend infused with decadent flavors. Retail: $4.49 for 20 tea bags

Out of everything in the box I was most excited about the tea. Yes, I ate the chocolates but I have been dying to break open the tea. I’ve seen so many great reviews on Instagram and friends who have already tried it keep telling me how much I will love the tea. I am a serious tea nut. As in, I have a tea cabinet…nothing but tea and teas supplies. I am trying the Caramel first thing in the am.
