MANICure Monday: Chocolate Kiss

It’s time for another MANICure Monday. This week I wanted to tone things down a bit after my bright yellow-green polish by Julep. I decided to give one of my Mary Kay colors a try and  I’ve had this color for a while. I do not recall ever trying this color. It’s a Chocolate Kiss nail polish that looks gorgeous on me.

I am beginning to think I might be a nail polish hoarder. Most of the polishes in my collection are unused. Now, that is not to say that I am going to cut back or stop buying polishes. Oh no, that is not the case at all. I am just saying I have a few that I really should get around to using. Tis all! I do anticipate adding to my collection.

Anywho, let’s get back to the subject. I broke the nail on my middle finger and I decided to file my nails down. I do not like having multiple lengths of nails. That is just me. Plus, I do like having them short.

I love Mary Kay polishes because they dry extremely fast. I used two coats of this color and my nails were fully dry in less than 15 minutes. The other thing I like about MK polishes is the wear, long-lasting. If I forget to use a topcoat, it is no big deal. I do not have to worry about my polish chipping in one day.

Mary Kay’s Chocolate Kiss nail polish is this week’s choice for Manicure Monday. I am sure you will see this in my next few videos on YouTube. This is a beautiful color and it reminds me of brown and copper mixed together. The picture really doesn’t do it any justice.

Chocolate Kiss is more of a spring neutral as opposed to my OPI Romeo & Juliet polish. If you are looking for a nice light springy brown, this is a great color.

Loving the color and I have a similar color in my box by Essie. And by the way, I too hate my nails being different lengths and rather picky to keep them short, too for the most part 🙂
