Nicka K NY112 | Classic Taupe Manicure

I was sorting through all of my Ipsy, Birchbox, Beauty Box 5, and other subscription service boxes and bags when I found this week’s nail color. The first time I saw the color I was not a fan and thought about giving it away. However, the color started to grow on me after I looked at it a few times. So, I am rocking Nicka K NY112 this week.

The color does not lend itself to nail art, so I just went with a basic manicure. It’s a darker taupe polish. I have something similar from Julep, but the color is more of a grayish taupe. I can’t explain it.

Anywho, I used two coats of polish, but my manicure could have used another coat for full opacity. However, I noticed this polish is thicker than the NK polishes I see in my local beauty supply. I am not sure but I think it is a different formula.

I’m also not a taupe girl on the surface of it, but this color looks really great with your skin, and is a perfect neutral for you. 🙂
