Quick Tiki Update…What’s Going On?

No, I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I’m still here…alive and kicking. My days are still filled with doctor’s appointments and lab work. Good times! LOL! I know I don’t talk much about me but mainly my hair. So, I wanted to share what I have been up to while I was trying to rest and recoup. I will keep this as short as possible. hehe

Nails:

Well, this week didn’t start as planned. I wanted to get back into the swing of things, but I got caught up with a mani that I couldn’t get to turn outright. It was supposed to have this pink as a base color and some black and white nail art. Umm…yeah, that so didn’t happen. LOL! Somehow, I missed posting yesterday and today messing with my mani gone wrong. I finally gave up and said I will try it again later. We shall see how it turns out this weekend. *crosses fingers*

Hair:

I don’t know how it happened, but I haven’t washed my hair in three weeks…eww! That is so not me. I think it was just not feeling well. I don’t know, but it needs a good scrub. It doesn’t smell or anything like that but I have OCD. Not having clean hair is about to drive me batty. I was going to henna, but I’ve had a box already mixed sitting in my fridge for three weeks. I don’t think I should use it. Hmm…don’t think that one is a good idea, but I need to research it a bit.

The good news is, I texlax in less than two weeks and I will start prepping for that next week. It’s time to do a protein treatment and all that jazz. Oh, shoot! I need to share my Hairfinity review. I’m getting old…don’t mind me.

She might be unwashed, but she sure is purdy! LOL! See this post isn’t all negative. geesh!

Life:

The good news is my phone should be here soon. I’m not sure why it’s taking so long. I ordered it on the 23rd and it still hasn’t shipped. You know I have called the order department like give up my goods. LOL! Did I mention I filed an FCC complaint? Yeah, I’m mad about the whole situation. I feel like consumers were misled and flat-out lie to convince us to continue to place orders. Oh, I raise a little hell when I need to but otherwise…I’m a sweetie. *bats eyelashes*

I think I got into a bit of a funk when I took my break to reset, but I am getting back on track. Hmm…I think you are all caught up. I know I threw a lot at you, but I wanted to tell you the goings-on with little old me.

Heck, it seems like a lot going on but nothing I can’t handle. Life isn’t always springtime and pretty flowers. It is all about how you deal with challenges and how you overcome them. These are small things and I don’t bat an eye at it. I will keep it moving with a smile on my face. I’m thankful for each day I am blessed to be here. Thanks for letting me vent share for a bit.
