Sorry, this post is from February but for some reason, it didn’t post when I set it up. I’m working on some new things as I’m finally in my new place and halfway settled. I wanted to post a quick chat about my latest hair crime. LOL!
Yes, it’s true I committed a hair crime. I took a curling iron to dirty hair. No, it was product dirty or filthy. I just haven’t washed it since last week. Yes, I did use heat protection but I was wrong for doing it in the first place. I kept the heat low and didn’t let the curling iron sit on it too long. I really wanted to use my Caruso rollers because they are not a form of direct heat. However, I was being lazy and did not feel like digging them out. All in the name of having cute hair for a Super Bowl party. Sigh, I know better…won’t happen again.
Please do not put heat on hair that has not been freshly washed. As many of you know, I rarely use direct heat. I normally only use a flat iron right after I texlax or for special occasions. At one time, I was using low heat just in the back once a month for length checks. Yep, that is about all the heat you get out of me. That reminds me that I did say for this year I was going back to monthly length checks.
Anywho, I need to confess my hair crime. I feel so much better now that I got that off my chest.
Side note: Did anyone see my team win the Super Bowl last night? hehe, Go RAVENS!!!
