Did you fall off your skincare regimen during the holiday season? Well, it’s time to reset your skincare routine and get back on track. I have said many times before; I am the worst at being consistent with my skincare. Last year, I promised myself to do better. After all, your girl isn’t getting any younger and it’s time to get my act together.
I love a good challenge whether it is hair, skin, or weight loss. I think it is a great way to keep me on track and accountable. Not only did I slack on my routine during the holidays, I slacked on my routine after surgery. I noticed that my face was super dry and I decided to hit the reset button.
If you have been here before, you know that I LOVE the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. I started using it last year as a part of my skincare line up and the results have been awesome (my irritating line in the middle of my forehead is almost invisible), but I felt like something was missing. I normally use a serum but I ran out of my last one…too lazy to look for a new one. However, I found out about the Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum and figured it would be a great addition.
Funny story: I had my package of Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream and Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum sitting in a box up on my desk. A friend of mine saw them and got all excited. She said, “I love that stuff! I’ve been using Olay for years. My mother actually used it and that’s why I started.” Let me tell you, she is in her late 40’s – early 50’s (can’t remember at the moment) and her skin is gorgeous! She looks like she is in her early 40’s, so Olay is definitely doing right by her. LOL! Anywho, during our chat, she also mentioned that she likes buying the multi-pack because it is less expensive. I absolutely agree with her logic because mine is the same!
You really don’t have to spend a ton of money on skincare to get great results. What I really love is that membership clubs sell the Olay Regenerist line in multi-packs at a fraction of the cost of buying the individual products at a local retailer. I’m here for saying all of the money that I can.
Aside from where to purchase the Olay Regenerist line, I have a few tips on resetting your skincare routine after the holidays.
- Cleansing – Properly cleansing your skin is a must. It not only removes dirt and makeup but when combined with a brush cleanser, it exfoliates and removes dead cells. I noticed that using the Olay Regenerist Regenerating Cream Cleanser with my brush cleanser, keeps my skin looking radiant and refreshed while keeping my dry patches from popping up!
- Hydration – I’m not just talking about using the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream and the Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum to moisturize and keep your skin hydrated, I’m talking about water intake. People underestimate just how much drinking the right amount of water will help with keeping their hair and skin moisturized from the inside out. So drink up!
- Rest Well – One of the easiest ways to get great skin is proper rest. While you sleep, your body undergoes a process of recovery and repair. During that time, collagen is produced and it keeps your skin looking plump and youthful. In addition to sending much-needed oxygen to help skin look radiant and fresh.
I love that celebrities are even seeing the benefits of using Olay over expensive brands. Overall, I love how hydrated my skin feels now, that I’m back on track. To reset your skincare routine, stop by your local retailer and pick up a pack of the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream and Olay Regenerist Regenerating Serum.
