I am preparing for my next heat freestyle that will be posted on Friday. So I took it easy with a lazy wash day because I am going to do a co-wash tomorrow and set my hair. Last night, I completed my hair process in the braids you saw on Friday that I wore under my wig. I did not have any buildup and it was super simple to just leave the braids in while taking care of my hair.
Here is my super-fast wash day. No pre-poo included.
Shampoo – V05 Herbal Escapes Clarifying Shampoo. I had a couple of flakes but nothing serious.
Condition – I did an in shower quick condition with my Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner
Deep Condition- L’Oreal Total 5 Repair Damage Eraser Balm. This was my first time using it after seeing Jen use it multiple times. I finally decided to pull it out of the stash.
Leave-Ins- Wave Nouveau Finishing Mist, Giovanni Direct Leave-in, Herbal Essences Split End Protector, and Pura d’or Argan Oil
After my co-wash and set tomorrow, I will be ready to share my next heat free style for the challenge. I will be sure to post it on Friday.
Have you ever had a lazy wash day and not felt like going all out?
Lazy is not even the word. Sometimes I just skip it all together! Bad..I know 🙁 How are you liking the Wave Nouveau Finishing Mist?
LOL! I understand…trust me! I’m trying to talk myself into washing after a braidout. I like the mist as the liquid in my LCO and in my moisture mix. I’ve been using it for a few years.
Oh nice! I prefer LCO vs LOC as well. Thanks for sharing.
I won’t tell a soul. LOL
LOl!
With using Bobeam’s shampoo bars and APB leave-in, I can make it a few days before having to do a full wash day. That makes me very happy!
I’m sure because a full wash day, no matter the hair length or type, is a process! LOL! I love shampoo bars!
YES!! I have lazy days often.
LOL! I’m under the dryer now…praying for a miracle.
I have yet to try wave nouveau, but I love my Giovanni and Herbal Escapes.
Girl, give it a try. I’ve loved it for years!!!
