Hada Labo Tokyo Replenishing Hydrator is a lightweight product designed to boost hydration and fill fine lines. The key ingredient in this product is Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid combats signs of premature aging by adding moisture to the skin. Let’s face it, none of use wants to look older soon than they have to and if you have dry skin, hyaluronic acid should be your bestie!
It seems like in the last 6 months I have been greatly concerned with aging. I’m noticing more grey hairs and as I lost weight, my face has changed a bit. So, I am now on the hunt for anti-aging and hydrating products that can keep me from looking older than my years. I must admit, I have not always been good to my skin. I have taken it for granted but not any longer.
Where to Buy: Hada Labo Tokyo site, Ulta, and Drugstore .com
Price: $17.99
Size: 1.7 fl oz
Ingredients: water, butylene glycol, glycerin, citric acid, dipropylene glycol, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, methylisothiazolinone, PPG-10 methyl glucose ether, sodium acetylated hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium hyaluronate.
Price: The price is on par for drug store anti-aging products of their size. However, there are similar products by competitors that are a little less. The packaging does make it appear there is more product in the container.
Final Thoughts: I will explore this item again during the summer months. If it doesn’t work for me at that time, I will have to toss it. I wish it provided a touch more hydration so that I could use it in my winter skincare regimen. I do like it for just an extra boost of hydration but for the price, I would not purchase this hydrator in the future. I need something heavier and a thicker consistency. I believe it is great for oily skin because it is oil-free, lightweight, and fast-absorbing. However, if you have dry skin or eczema, I would not recommend this as a stand-alone moisturizer. I’m going to continue my search for my go-to anti-aging serum. .

Have you tried it? What did you think?

Hi Grow it Girl,
I received a sample of this product in the mail through freesamples4all and I have to admit, I did like the product. I do remember you mentioning that if you have eczema not to use it as a stand alone moisturizer. I used it yesterday and it felt fine. I was pleased with it. But this is only my opinion. Everyone has different skin types, and other factors. I might try it again but I would like to know, have you tried and reviewed regenerist serum by cover girl yet? I am interested in this product.
I do like your review and I am looking forward to subscribing to your blog.
Thank you Grow it Girl.

I have not reviewed the Regenerist. I do have a small package sample that I will try but that won’t be a full review. It’s more like a first impression

Thanks! I thought about filler. As for lasers, I’m not sure how they work for those who are multi-racial. It can go either way and I’m not willing to take that risk. That or peels. I thought about products with Retin A. I need to do more research.

I have not heard of this product until now; it sounds interesting. I am very dry in the winter and my skin peels around my mouth. This would be a great product to add on top of my makeup in the winter. Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed your review 🙂

I have not tried this product. I have really dry skin, and have been breaking out a lot lately, which is a new thing for me. I had a baby 6 months ago, so I’m wondering if it’s a hormonal thing or something. This product doesn’t sound like it’s for me. Thanks for the review!

My first thought was hormonal then I saw you just had a baby. I think that is the culprit. Yes, this is not a winter product for dry skin.
