Have you ever seen something on YouTube and thought to yourself that the product can’t live up to the hype? I had that happen a little over a year ago when I happened upon a video using one of the Makeup Revolution Redemption eyeshadow palettes. I thought the colors were gorgeous, but I was a bit hesitant about ordering from the site after I realized it was only sold in the UK.
OMG! I’m kicking myself for not ordering sooner. I signed up for their newsletter as soon as I saw the palette, but I’m mad I didn’t pull the trigger on purchasing. The prices are great and I recently found out so is the pigmentation. I received the Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Redemption palette and let me tell you this palette is the bomb!
If you haven’t tried any of their products, run to your nearest Ulta and pick up whatever they have in stock. The Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette is a phenomenal dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. The colors are gorgeous and highly, highly pigmented. Makeup Revolution does not mess around with quality. I barely touched the colors to do my swatches and you can see how pigmented my swatches are WITHOUT a primer. Yep, I didn’t use any primer for my swatches and you can see how great they look.
I was also surprised at the creaminess of the formula and the serious lack of fallout. Wait until you see the look I created for tomorrow’s post with this palette. How about I’ve already snagged the Makeup Revolution Romantic Smoked Redemption palette which is a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palette. Next on my list is the highlighter palette. Oh my! It looks sooo pretty online and someone told me it’s just as pretty in person. After trying the eyeshadow palette, I definitely believe the highlighter palette is the bomb too.
I’m so happy to see this largely popular UK brand being sold in the US. I don’t have to worry about shipping times…patience is a virtue that I do not possess. LOL Let me tell you the full truth…I’ve been stalking the brand on Instagram drooling over the cuteness of the brand and palettes. Makeup Revolution is the magical unicorn of the drugstore brands. I must have more…

I have been using a few of their palettes and I am in love. I also bought their highlighter and a lip lacquer yesterday and Ulta and WOW are they beautiful!

Yes, this was just in time for fall. I didn’t realize until I was writing the post that I tend to favor certain colors for the fall.
