Pink Flower Manicure For Cancer Awareness | Julep Raegan Nail Polish

It is Monday already! In my post last week, I mentioned this month I will have a tribute to my family for Lung Cancer Awareness every Monday in November. One person can’t change the world, but I can do my best to raise awareness. This month the focus has been on Prostate cancer and I have not heard any mention of Lung cancer. Let me stop now! Anywho, I decided to do a pink flower manicure using one of my Julep nail polishes.

I used my Julep Raegan nail polish this week because I was feeling a little pink 🙂 I love this color and formula because it is so thick and creamy that you really do not need a second coat of polish.

I love that it hid the imperfections in my nails. It’s time for a gel fill, but I’ve had a fever all day. That was so not about to happen! No, I am not coming down with anything. I just think it is stress. I am fine other than the achy feeling.

Anywho, I had some 3D nail stickers that I decided to try. They came as a bonus in my nail dotter package. Awesome!  I thought it was a cute little flower sticker and it was really simple to use. You just peel, stick and seal with a topcoat. Super easy, right?

Last but not least, I have the white ribbon in remembrance of the family that I lost. You may notice it is on the ring finger again. Yes, that is where it will continue to be. I just thought about when I was married that was the finger for my wedding ring. The wedding ring goes behind the engagement ring so that it will be closest to your heart. I know it sounds crazy, but the same theory applies to the ribbon. Do not judge me. I am very sentimental.

Here is this week’s MANICure:

[…] This week I used Ruby Kiss’ Red Cameo. As you can see, I’ve had this polish for a bit. I picked it up some time ago from a beauty supply store in Jax, FL. I stated in the first MANICure Monday Lung Cancer the significance of the red polish. Feel free to check out that post and other MANICure Monday posts for this month, Rhinestones and Pearls and Flowers and Awareness. […]
