It’s that time of the week again, Monday! I know this week is a short week for most because of Thanksgiving. I will admit I was tempted to do a Turkey Day theme for today’s post, but I decided against it. It is the last Monday of November and my last day for this month to raise awareness of this being Lung Cancer Awareness Month. I know one woman can’t change the world, but I hope I was able to raise awareness with my readers. I went with another manicure with red nail polish because of my mother’s favorite color.
The posts for this month have been cathartic. They have brought up some very fond memories and made me smile. I am so glad that I decided to work on this theme for the month of November. I have also received messages from readers about the impact Lung Cancer has had on their families and friends. It made me feel good that I am not just posting and someone paid attention. I hope that there are others who have appreciated my posts but just did not respond.
Anywho, today’s look is very simple and dedicated to my mother. I know most of my manicures for this month have had her in mind. So, it’s only fitting that this last one does too. It’s MANICure Monday Lady Byrd.
This week I used Ruby Kiss’ Red Cameo. As you can see, I’ve had this polish for a bit. I picked it up some time ago from a beauty supply store in Jax, FL. I stated in the first MANICure Monday Lung Cancer the significance of the red polish. Feel free to check out that post and other MANICure Monday posts for this month, Rhinestones and Pearls and Flowers and Awareness.
For the white ribbon, I simply used a small dotter and white acrylic paint. As I said in the beginning, this is a very simple manicure for this week.
What is your favorite red nail polish? Have you done anything to spread awareness for the month of November?
Btw, the rhinestones and pearls from last week’s manicure lasted the entire week. I only covered them with a clear coat of polish. Just in case anyone was wondering how they held up.

I love the dotted ribbon! I have zero polish on my nails. 🙁 It’s a luxury I never seem to have time for anymore. I didn’t know November was lung cancer awareness month.

Thank you Elisebet! Yes, the focus for this month has been prostate cancer and no mention of lung cancer.
