Sometimes you just don’t feel like doing nail art and This week I decided to go with just plain color. It just didn’t seem right to add anything thing to this color. It’s Julep Julianne polish and perfect for this week.
It is a grayish blue and not something I would normally wear. According to Julep, the Julianne color is “a dusty blue crème inspired by actress Julianne Moore” I’m not sure how the shade was inspired by her, but it works for me.
I decided to give it a go-to at least swatch and share the color with you all. I have to admit that the color grew on my and I quite like it now. The polish is a creamy formula and I only needed two coats of polish for full coverage. I probably could’ve only went with one, but I’m in the habit of using at least two coats.
I received this polish back in the February of 2013 Julep Maven Box, and I just kept looking at it and passing on it. I am so glad I finally decided to try it for this week’s manicure. Heck, you might see this one again in the upcoming weeks.
I do apologize because the Macro feature on my camera does not allow me to capture the true color. It’s simply gorgeous in person. The Canon T3i is calling me, but it is not in my budget. Ugh! The torture! Why is Beyonce’s “Upgrade You” playing in my head now? LOL! Don’t judge me! I really need sleep ASAP because I am feeling extra goofy.
Until next week…

I LOVE Julep polishes and that is a really great shade! I wish I’d received that one, but my last box was one of the makeup boxes.
