Sometimes the saying, “The apple didn’t fall far from the tree” is so true. In the case of my youngest daughter, the apple dropped from the tree, rolled one time, and stayed there. If you think I’m a character, you should see her! I admit that I’m a little quirky, so I don’t know why it shocks me that my girls are too. I recently showed you the gift basket that I created for my oldest daughter, and I explained how my girls are totally different when it comes to Christmas gifts. My oldest is all about beauty and my youngest is the gift card queen.

Now don’t judge us, but we still talk about Santa around these parts. Yep, you read it correctly. My youngest told me to tell Santa that she wanted certain gift cards for Christmas. Seriously, my daughters are stuck in elementary school and it doesn’t help that my youngest still looks 12 years old. OK, I admit that it doesn’t help that I still treat them like babies. I’m working on it, but that’s not the point. Well, we go through this whole what Santa is bringing and what Santa brought thing every year. My daughters’ friends think they are completely out of their minds. Sigh Yes, my daughters refuse to let go of Santa.

Soooo…I thought it would be super awesome to give my youngest a gift card from TheGiftCardShop.com because I can attach a video from Santa with a special message. My youngest isn’t into makeup quite like my oldest and I am, so I thought just giving her a gift card to one of her favorite clothing stores would be perfect. She does her brows and wears lip gloss…that’s all we can get out of her. *facepalm* Where did I go wrong? LOL Anywho, let me show you how simple the process is to buy a gift card and send it to your loved ones for the holidays or any special occasion.

After you hop onto the site, you want to select “Digital” in the upper right-hand corner to send an ecard.

Next, I clicked on “Video Greetings”. This is when the fun starts! The next screen is where you will find options for a naughty or nice video. I decided to go with the Naughty video just for a giggle. hehe, I’m terrible! LOL

On the next screen, you will enter the recipient information and add a gift card. It even has an option to enter the recipient’s photo or your photo. This process is seriously customizable. You can even link it to your Facebook account and photos. I thought an old photo of my baby girl when she was a little would be perfect to use.

After you complete the recipient information, you will have an opportunity to view your customized video. I decided it would be super cute to include old pictures of my girls when they were smaller and to change their age. I’m sure the waterworks will start when she sees this…my baby girl is sentimental just like her mother.

After you have your video all set up, click on the make it a gift link. That will take you to the gift card selection screen. Click on your friend or family member’s favorite store and select the amount you would like to add to the gift card.
