MANICure Monday has arrived! I was in desperate need of an actual manicure this week, not a polish change. My cuticles looked horrible and I could not believe I was looking at my hands. Confession, I missed quite a few passes on moisturizing. I do not know what I was thinking and I know I have eczema. I had to nip that quickly and get these little fingers together. I am still working on the back of my hands but my mani is otherwise on point.
Since my last MANICure Monday, I picked up a few polishes. Sally’s had a buy 2, get 1 free sale last week and I thought I would check it out. However, the sale did not benefit me because it excluded O.P.I. polishes.*insert sad face* I did pick up a few polishes from another brand but they were on clearance so that did not matter either. I know…I missed the whole point of the sale. In the end, I bought two O.P.I polishes and two China Glaze three-piece sets. I spent less than $25, including shipping. I think I did okay.
Now you know I could not wait to get into my new polishes. They arrived on Thursday and I am already including one in today’s post. Yep, there is nothing like a new toy. LOL!
Online the color I am using today looked a little lighter; however, I am not at all disappointed in what I ordered. The color is gorgeous and perfect for spring. Both of the polishes I purchased are from the OPI Brazil Spring and Summer 2014 collection. There are two other colors from the collection that I was on the fence about but I am going to go ahead and buy those colors. I can’t resist!
Today’s color from the OPI Brazil collection is Toucan Do It If You Try. I think this will be one of my favorites for this year. I tend to favor oranges, corals, and peaches for the spring and summer months. I think those colors look good on me. Don’t judge me! LOL!
What color are you wearing this week? Have you picked up any new polishes?

I love that color for this year. I had chosen it for the color theme for my girls room, to find it everywhere this summer! I just tried a new nail sticker art which was water drops. Pretty cool. Thanks for linking up with Countdown in Style!

Oh wow, nice. 🙂 I’m wearing red today. Actually just painted my nails haha 🙂 And I forbid myself to pick up any new nail polishes, because if I have too many they just go bad. 🙁

How can you wrong with OPI??? I found a bunch of colors on clearance at Ulta the other day. Looking forward to trying them ALL out during the summer. Great post!
Tiki says
Exactly! I don’t know why I didnt trust just buying them anyway. *Gasp* A clearance on polishes? I can’t say that any polish would’ve been safe.

Oh I love that fun, orange color and need to paint my nails again here. Been a few days since I took off the last of the polish I had on for Easter, but this one looks like so much fun!! 🙂

Thanks! I can’t wait to pick up the other colors that caught my eye in the collection.

The color reminds me of fresh fruit. Very nice for the season change. I’m in love with China Glaze and can always find a color slightly different from the ones I already have and grab them up at the Sally sales.

Thank you! I haven’t tried China Glaze in a good while so I can’t wait to test out the colors I picked up. I think one set was 3.99 and the other was 4.49. The was a steal.
