So, I was making a batch of low carb pumpkin muffins and I realized I had a nail color similar to the muffins. Don’t judge me. Yes, my manicure was inspired by muffins. LOL! Inspiration can come from anywhere.
I have been a Julep Maven forever and I know the colors I have in my collection. I picked Ingrid by a Julep polish. Doesn’t this remind you of pumpkin? Seriously! 
It reminds me of a fall color but you know I don’t play by the season rules. If I like it, I wear it. If it reminds me of a pumpkin muffin, so be it. I’m wearing it with pride!
I received this polish along with two others a while back. I love how my Julep Maven boxes have evolved as the company has expanded. Now, I just need to use or swatch all of the colors I have in my stash.
Nailuv Mini Update:
I can see some growth in my nails; however, they still do not have their normal strength. My nails are growing but are still somewhat weak. I am using the Nailuv Strengthener Treatment but so far, I am not seeing a difference. The other items in the Care set work great. I just need the strengthener to get on board.
In the last few days, I added Biotin back in the mix. I need all the extra boost I can get. I really think the growth I have experienced is partly because of the (affiliate link) Hairfinity supplement I’ve taken for the last few weeks.
MANICure Monday News:
If you noticed in the title, I am no longer calling my Monday manicures MANICure Monday. I wear my manicures the entire week and I feel changing the name of my weekly posts makes sense. Plus, it just limits me from posting and sharing my manicures on Monday. If you miss my Monday mani, I want to be able to tell you about it on Wednesday via Twitter.
I thought about calling it the #NOTD but I don’t just wear my mani for one day. I think #NOTW just fits so much better. I will try it out for a few weeks and see how I feel about it later.
Tell me what you think. Should I keep the MANICure Monday name? Go with #NOTD (nail of the day)? Or, #NOTW?

I really think you should try colors that are out of your norm. You might like a darker orange like this one.
