White Rain Apple Blossom Conditioner Review

So, I was strolling through the Dollar Tree and minding my little business, then all of a sudden, a bottle of White Rain Apply Blossom conditioner hopped into my basket. LOL! Seriously, I saw the bottle and I was curious to see if it worked as well as my holy grail, VO5 Moisture Milks.

First let me start of by saying, for only $1, it’s well worth giving it a try to see if it works for you. I decided to try the White Rain Apple Blossom Conditioner during a co-wash session instead of a full wash day. For whatever reason, my brain thought it was a good idea to try a new product right before a Valentine’s dinner date. Smh

White Rain Apple Blossom Conditioner Used for Weekly Update and Conditioning

The first thing I noticed about the conditioner was that the consistency was somewhat running. For me, that is a good thing because conditioners like that normally have great slip. Sure enough, the Apple Blossom conditioner was just what I needed to detangle my hair. I applied a liberal amount to small sections of my hair and used my seamless comb to detangle.

The conditioner did a great job at detangling. However, I noticed it didn’t leave my hair as soft as the VO5. The scent is amazing and it really does smell like apples. My only issue was that I wanted the same moisturizing benefits that I get with the VO5 Moisture Milks.

In the end, I will say that it is worth the $1 that I paid and I would use it again. As a matter of fact, I do have another bottle to use because I bought two.

Weekly Hair Update:

2/15:  After co-washing the day before, put my hair up in a phony ponytail and baggied the ends of my hair under the ponytail. The next day, I removed the baggy and I didn’t take my hair out of the base ponytail. To style my hair for the day, I simply put a scrunchie around my ponytail and called it a day. Well, I did spray my moisture mix and gave myself a quick scalp massage.

When I got home I did a quick length check on the back section and noticed it’s uneven. I’m supposed to dust my ends this month but I see a real trim coming. I have a thing for blunt ends. I’m trying to talk myself out of trimming since I’m about to wig it for the rest of the month. My mind is going around in circles.

2/16: Another day…another co-wash. I did a quick co-wash using V05 Tea therapy with oil mixed in and a scalp massage.

2/17:  I didn’t do anything to my hair. It was one of those days!

2/18: I threw on a phony pony and went to a birthday party after class. I may do my weekly shampoo/deep condition on 2/19.
